Our story

It started with an idea
that stayed with me.

More than twenty years ago, the internet witnessed an experiment that surprised the world: thousands of people bought small spaces within a single image and proved that many individual contributions, united, can create something extraordinary.

That idea stayed with me for years. As someone passionate about technology, I was always fascinated by the power of connecting people. But a deeper question arose: what if each of those pixels represented a person? What if behind every pixel there were a story, a face and a cause worth supporting?

Pixel Solidari was born to connect both worlds. We did not want to create another donation platform, but an experience that would make the power of collective action visible — transparent, traceable and easy to understand. Because trust is the foundation of any sustainable social initiative.

Because here your contribution does not disappear after you donate. It becomes a visible part of a collective work. You do not just contribute to a cause; you become part of it.

Where does my money go?

Directly to the campaign you choose. Before contributing you can see how the resources are distributed: amount to the cause, payment costs and platform operation. At the close we publish a results report.

Can I choose the cause I want to support?

Yes. You decide which campaign to support among the participating organizations, and you can contribute to one or several.

What kind of photographs can I upload?

Personal photos, family photos, photos of your pets or any image that represents your participation. They all go through moderation to keep the mural safe and respectful.

What happens to my photograph?

It is added to the campaign mural as part of the collective story. We never sell or use your images for commercial purposes without your consent, and you can request to have it removed.

How much does it cost to participate?

Each campaign sets an accessible minimum contribution. You can acquire several pixels or subscribe for recurring donations.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

It depends on the organization. When it can issue deductible receipts, this is clearly indicated within the campaign.

What happens if a campaign does not reach its goal?

Every contribution makes an impact. Unless otherwise stated, the resources are delivered to the beneficiary organization even if the goal is not reached.

Which organizations can participate?

Civil associations, foundations and social projects with a positive impact on animal welfare, education, health, environment, community development and other causes of social interest.

How much does it cost to launch a campaign?

There are no registration fees or upfront payments. We only charge a commission on the funds actually raised.

What do I need to register my organization?

Documentation that validates its existence and legitimacy, verifiable contact information and evidence of its work. Verification is part of our commitment to trust.

Do I need to be an authorized donee?

Not necessarily. Organizations can participate even without authorization to issue deductible receipts; those that have it will be able to offer tax benefits.

When do I receive the funds raised?

According to the timelines of the campaign agreement, once the validation and payment reconciliation processes are completed.

How is transparency guaranteed?

Every campaign has a public goal, real-time progress and a final results report, with clear and verifiable information throughout the process.
